PT. MONOKEM SURYA is a private, 100% Indonesian-owned-company specializes in the manufacturing of speciality chemicals for ink and textile, zircon and ilmenite. Starting 2013, Monokem is focusing more on the development of the zircon products. With office headquartered in Jakarta, and the spacious 64,000 square-meter production facilities are strategically located in the region of Rengas Dengklok, Karawang, West of Java.

1989

Established in 1989, PT. MONOKEM SURYA was founded as a private company wholly owned by Indonesia. The company initially focused on the production of specialty chemicals for inks, textiles, zircon, and ilmenite.

2008
2008

In 2008, PT. MONOKEM SOLAR began to dive into mining by mining and purifying zircon sand until it reaches a minimum purity of 65%. This is their first step in developing zircon products.

2013
2013

Starting in 2013, PT. MONOKEM SURYA focuses on developing zircon products. They expanded their products into micronized zircon flour and zirconium silicate, which are used in a variety of applications such as ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, tableware, castings and other chemicals.

Present - Future

Currently, the head office of PT. MONOKEM SURYA is located in Jakarta, with production facilities covering an area of ​​64,000 square meters in Rengas Dengklok, Karawang, West Java. This strategic location helps them in product production and distribution. In addition, in the future we also plan to launch new production lines for Titanium slag and Pig Iron. This expansion will open new markets in the titanium and steel industry.
